Welcome to Zeal: The Pride Improv Festival London – a week of uninhibited, uncensored improvisation.
We’re dedicated to providing an opportunity for LGBTQIA improvisers to tell their stories and be true to their instincts onstage.
More and more improv organisations are engaging in the discussion about diversity and representation and we’re really excited to be a part of that conversation and to make a small step towards creating opportunities and working to support greater equality across the London improv scene.
This year’s festival is running from 1-7 July in the week leading up to the Pride March. Shows and workshops are taking place in venues across London in conjunction with some of the city’s top improv organisations – including The Free Association, C3Something, Duck Duck Goose, Monkey Toast, Hoopla, The Nursery and Improvable.
The festival is OPEN TO ALL. We don’t believe that supporting one area of the community means shutting others out and we look forward to seeing everyone regardless or their orientation, identification, race, gender or background – from seasoned improvisers to first-timers.
This is an opportunity to support diversity, discover new talent and come together in a celebration of everything that makes the improv community such an entertaining and inspiring place to be.
We look forward to seeing you there!
